  Formerly known as Computer Man College, founded in 1990. 2010 Future University was elevated to full university status in 2010 by the Parliament and signed by the President of the Republic. 2017 FU is a leading ICT academic institution in the region The Future University creates an atmosphere conducive to academic activities by providing scientific and technological programs; and to equip the students, parents, the academic community and the society with the ability to contribute to the innovation and research in the sciences and technology.

  كمبيوتر مان و كمبيوتك هما كانوا كليات تجارية تدرس علوم الحاسوب في ربع تسعينيات القرن المنصرم، و في أعوام الألفين تم تحويله لجامعة المستقبل، فعلآ تستحق الاسم بامتياز، لأني في تلك الاعوام كنت ادرس في مركز نيالا لتدريب الكمبيوتر في عام ١٩٩٧م ،و هي اول معهد في نيالا في مجال علوم الحاسوب ،كانت تطلب كل شيء تختص بالكمبيوتر من معهد كمبيوتك اي مركز كمبيوتك في الخرطوم، كانت ايام جميلة،و هأنذا الآن
